When premier automotive filter firm GUD South Africa needed to update and improve its assembly process, it found exactly the answer it was looking for in Burner & Flame Technology.

Personally designed and built

The rig designed and constructed by BFT heat welds the end caps onto air filters manufactured by GUD. With a market-leading reputation and expansive export agreements, it was obviously vital to the client that the changes to its outdated final assembly process could be made as smoothly and efficiently as possible and give immediate results. BFT was able to personally supply every element apart from the mechanism to make the burners spin, speeding up the building and installation, and ensuring the highest quality components and workmanship. This included gas and air mixers, burners and safety equipment to create an up-to-the-minute semi-automated process that GUD is delighted with.
